Psalm 104:34 My Meditation of Him Shall Be Sweet

Psalm 104:34 (KJV)  My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD. 

The psalmist understood that the time he spent with the Lord shall be a happy one. Drawing close to Him through the reading and meditation of His Word brings comfort and strength to the heart.

He says, “I will be glad in the LORD”. The LORD imparts to the abiding soul a gladness that the world knoweth not.

It is a transcendent kind of joy that brings the soul restfulness and peace even amidst the toils and tribulations of this life. Indeed, our meditation of Him is sweet! Amen.
