1 Peter 4:7 Be Ye Therefore Sober and Watch Unto Prayer

1 Peter 4:7 (KJV)  But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. 

Discerning the signs of the time, the people of God are exhorted to be sober and watch unto prayer.

Sobriety and opposed to drunkenness, there is a vigilance and posture of being on guard because of the lurking danger of the enemy at hand.

The end of all things is at hand. There is a consummation that is coming when the gospel age will soon end, let His people go forth with the gospel while it is day. Amen.
