Daniel 3:17 Our God Whom We Serve Is Able

Daniel 3:17 (KJV)  If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 

The friends of Daniel in Babylon would not bow down to the image of the Babylonian king in worship. For them, the LORD only is God.

Under coercion and threat of impending death, they were courageous to keep their faith and not deny their LORD. They trusted the LORD for even the threat of being burned in the fiery furnace did not deter them from their allegiance to the LORD.

Faith in the LORD gave them boldness and courage to trust in the critical testing moment to give glory to Him. Indeed, the LORD is glorified, when His people trusted Him come what may. Amen.
