Isaiah 40:31 But They That Wait Upon The LORD Shall Renew Their Strength

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)  But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. 

To wait upon the LORD is look to Him for guidance and to hold still until He shows the way. The idea here is to move forward only when the LORD gives the go ahead.

When God’s children wait upon Him, the promise is that the LORD will renew their strength. He provides them with what is needed to move forward.

When the LORD energises His children for His work, they are endued with His power and move by His imparted strength. Running and not be weary and walking and not faint is the promise of the LORD for His people who wait upon Him. A most blessed life plan. Amen.
