John 15:4 As The Branch Cannot Bear Fruit Of Itself

John 15:4 (KJV)  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Fruitfulness in the believer’s life comes with abiding in Christ. Jesus Himself explained insighfully, “As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine.”

Applying directly to the believer, Jesus said, “no more can ye, except ye abide in me.”

Therefore, Jesus said, “Abide in me, and I in you, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” (John 15:7) Amen.
