John 14:19 Ye See Me Because I Live

John 14:19 (KJV) Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

Christ speaks of His crucifixion and his impending death. Christ also speaks of His triumphant resurrection from the dead.

Though He was dead and buried, He arose on the third day. And He prepares His disciples saying to them, “but ye shall see me; because I live.”

What Christ is emphasising to His disciples is this, “because I live, ye shall live also.” They too who trust in Him shall have everlasting life. Amen.
