1 Chronicles 22:19 Now Set Your Heart And Your Soul To Seek The LORD Your God

1 Chronicles 22:19 Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God; arise therefore, and build ye — the sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring — the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of the LORD.

It was David who commanded the all the princes of Israel to help Solomon in the building of the first Temple, as a set place of worship in Israel – 1 Chronicles 22:17-18 (KJV)  David also commanded all the princes of Israel to help Solomon his son, saying,  18 Is not the LORD your God with you? and hath he not given you rest on every side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD, and before his people. 

It will take many hands to build the Temple, in that sense, in the building of their own spiritual lives before the LORD. Israel has come a long way finding unity in the kingdom for this sacred task.

The believer is to prepare to wholeheartedly seek the LORD to honour the Lord’s Day to keep it holy, in worship and service. Amen.
