Psalm 125:1-2 They That Trust The LORD Shall Be As Mount Zion Which Cannot Be Moved

Psalm 125:1-2 (KJV) A Song of degrees. They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. 2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

The stability of the believer’s who trust in his LORD is being highlighted. He shall be as stable as Mount Zion which cannot be removed.

Jerusalem is an impregnable fortress because of the mountains that surrounds it. Here is the analogy that the LORD protects His people just like the mountains surround Jerusalem.

With the LORD taking care of His people, they can be assured that they will be well protected. Well cared for by the LORD. Amen.
