Proverbs 3:13 Happy Is The Man That Findeth Wisdom

Proverbs 3:13 (KJV)  Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. 

The word “happy” means “blessed”. He is indeed a happy and blessed of God who find wisdom that God imparts through His Word.

As God’s people take time to search the Scripture and meditate upon His Word – Proverbs 2:1-5 (KJV)  My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;  2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;  3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;  4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;  5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. 

True wisdom comes from God and understanding of His Word is by the illumination of the Holy Spirit. It is received through much prayer and focus upon God’s revealed Word. Amen.
