Psalm 95:1-3 O Come, Let Us Sing Unto The LORD

Psalm 95:1-3 (KJV) O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. 3 For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

The psalmist exhorts God’s people in thanksgiving to the LORD. Bringing to remembrance our salvation is fully secured in the LORD – the rock of our salvation.

This invitation for God’s people to come forth and worship the LORD is a most appropriate call for truly only the LORD is God. The LORD is a great God and a great King above all gods.

God’s people are exhorted to make a joyful noise with psalms. Let the rejoicing of God’s people be heard with exuberant praises for the LORD truly is worthy of worship and praise. Amen.
