Psalm 119:10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

Seeking and prone to wandering is the sad state of the heart that needs constantly to be reminded and refreshed by the Spirit of God through His Word. The psalmist sought the LORD with his whole heart.

A worthy consecration and a lurking danger – Romans 7:22-23 (KJV)  For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:  23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 

When light is come, it is fearsome to fall back into sin – Proverbs 2:13 (KJV)  Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness.
