Proverbs 8:34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

A man is blessed of the LORD who listens to Him. Such a man spends time with the LORD in His Word.

A man is blessed of the LORD who vigilantly watches at the gates of the LORD. Here is the picture of the Levite, an alert at the doors of the sanctuary.

A man is blessed of the LORD who wait upon the LORD at the posts of His door. He meditates on God’s Word with intense focus, seeking to be illuminated by the wisdom of the LORD. Amen.
