Psalm 117:1-2 O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth forever. Praise ye the LORD.

The psalmist extols the nations to praise the LORD. Let all the people in the nations praise the LORD.

For His worthy to be praised. His merciful kindness is great toward them.

This is especially so for His people called out of every nation. They acknowledge that unworthy as they are yet the LORD deals mercifully and kindly towards them.

Worthy indeed is the LORD to be praised. Amen.
