Philippians 3:13-14 I Press Toward the Mark For the Prize Of The High Calling of God In Christ Jesus

Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

The Apostle Paul perseveres in the Christian walk and in completing the ministry entrusted to him by the Lord. He said, “I press toward the mark…” He did not look back but forward knowing that his work is not done.

There is a prize which he knew was awaiting him as he seeks to fulfil God’s call in his life, a high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Looking to the finish line, he pressed on! Amen.
