Psalm 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

The believer is given the assurance of the LORD care throughout hie life – Hebrews 13:5-6 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

His goodness and His unfailing love abides with His people always and for all eternity. It is an assurance that the believer affirms based on the faithfulness of the LORD.

When this earthly sojourn ends, eternity begins in the house of the LORD, heaven itself is opened. Absent in the body is to be present in the LORD. Amen.
