Psalm 27:13 I Had Believed To See The Goodness of the LORD In the Land of the Living

Psalm 27:13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

Trials in life are given by God to strengthen the faith of His people. When the trial gets more intense, faith must also increase.

The psalmist believed and trusted the LORD in the time of trial. He had not fainted.

Therefore, the LORD have him to experience His goodness in a real and practical way. The encouragement for the tried is therefore given in Psalm 27:14 (KJV)  Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Amen.
