Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Thanksgiving for all things unto God and the Father in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ is the response of God’s people filled with the Holy Spirit. The heart is tenderly alive and able to see and thus acknowledge the mercy and goodness of God visibly displayed daily.

There is also sense of joy and gratitude for God’s unceasing care that culminates in praise. The privilege of being a child of God and having the grace to comprehend the length and breadth and depth of God’s love.

The grateful heart is also a singing heart – Ephesians 5:19 (KJV)  Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;  Amen.
