Ezekiel 44:28 I Am Their Inheritance

Ezekiel 44:28 And it shall be unto them for an inheritance: I am their inheritance: and ye shall give them no possession in Israel: I am their possession.

The LORD is the portion or possession and inheritance of His people. We are made heirs of God through faith.

The Levites, the priests in Israel, were given no inheritance, the LORD takes care of them – Numbers 18:20 (KJV) And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.

Though many believers in Christ are without the myriad of material possessions this world offers, their help and support is the LORD Himself. Their fellowship and communion with Him and His all-sufficient care for them and everlasting life and an incorruptible inheritance in heaven waiting to be revealed. Amen.
