Psalm 73:28 But It Is Good For Me To Draw Near To God
Psalm 73:28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
In the LORD, the psalmist finds strength to overcome the frailty of the flesh and weakness of the heart – Psalm 73:26 (KJV) My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
As he draws near to God, he is strengthened. He contrasted his privilege position with those that have departed from the LORD. He said in Psalm 73:27 (KJV) For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
In trusting the LORD, he saw the manifested of God’s power and presence. He gave thanks for the privilege to see the hand of the LORD. Amen.
