Philippians 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Apostle Paul’s life does always have a heavenly-geared life. Not an earthly and thus temporal indulgence but having eternal values in view.

He was able to do so because he looked forward to Christ’s return to bring His church to glory – Philippians 3:21 (KJV)  Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. 

This world is not his home and certainly not ours too is the Apostle Paul encouragement to God’s people. Soon, this earthly tabernacle will fall and it is thus the certainty of the change to come that he is “prepping” himself to live daily in the light of that future! Amen.
