Isaiah 49:14-15 Yet Will I Not Forget Thee

Isaiah 49:14-15 (KJV)  But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.  15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. 

Does the LORD forsake His people? Does the LORD forget His people?

The prophet rhetorically asked, “can a mother forget her little baby depending upon her milk to grow?” Certainly not! The prophet further adds, “will a mother not have compassion on the son of her womb?” Surely, she will!

In the scenario that even the earthly mother may forget her own child, the Father in heaven will not forget the children begotten of Him. Amen.
