2 Corinthians 13:4 Weak Yet Strong by the Power of God

2 Corinthians 13:4 (KJV)  For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.

Christ was crucified. It seemed to show forth vulnerability and yet after His crucifixion, He was risen from the dead.

For the believer who trusted in Christ and find salvation in Him, to him is manifested the power of God to live a life of overcoming over temptation and sin. The forces working against the believer, Satan, the world and flesh seemed overpowering, is no match against the resurrection power of holiness that Christ imparts to him.

As such, the believer lives assuredly in the power of God that enables him to live victoriously for God’s glory. Amen.
