Daniel 10:19 O Man Greatly Beloved

Daniel 10:19 (KJV)  And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me. 

Daniel was beloved of the LORD. He had been fasting for three whole weeks, praying that the LORD may guide him concerning the future of His people Israel, in exile in Babylon.

The LORD sent an angel to refresh and strengthen him – Hebrews 1:14 (KJV)  Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? 

He was strengthened and ready to receive instruction concerning the future. It is not in vain for God’s people to wait on the LORD. Amen.
