Psalm 25:1-2 Unto Thee, O LORD Do I Lift Up My Soul

Psalm 25:1-2 (KJV)  A Psalm of David.
 Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. 

The psalmist lifted up his troubled soul to the LORD. He trusted in the LORD as he lifted his burdens before Him at the throne of grace.

He lifted up his prayer in faith, trusting that the LORD hears his prayers. He is sorely persecuted and sought the LORD to undertake for him.

It was a spiritual battle and the enemy sought to shame and to overtake him. He pleaded for the LORD’s protection, resting in the LORD. Amen.
