Isaiah 1:19 Willing And Obedient
Isaiah 1:19 (KJV) If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
The LORD spoke through the prophet Isaiah to His people that if they would be submit to the law of God, they would be preserved and protected. A solemn charge and promise.
But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. A solemn warning for disobeying the law of God.
The good of the land refers to the increase in the land, the harvest, yields and produce of the land. The LORD shall enable them to be blessed with the good produce that the land will bring forth. Amen.
