Psalm 19:7-11 The Law of the LORD Is Perfect

Psalm 19:7-11 (KJV)  The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.  8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.  9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.  10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.  11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. 

God’s Word has the power to save a soul. Heavenly wisdom endowed and bestowed to such a soul to take hold of Christ, the LORD.

The enlightened soul is gently and lovingly led by the LORD in His fear to embrace His Word and to obey it. Thereby protected from the pitfalls of life and the promise of great reward awaits such a soul.

This is the law of the LORD that is perfect, that the people of God holds forth to an unbelieving world whether at home, in school, in the workplace and wherever He would lead for His glory. Amen.
