Philippians 1:6 He Which Hath Begun A Good Work In You

Philippians 1:6 (KJV)  Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: 

It is the work of God that a soul is saved. And it is the work of God that soul is kept in the faith and finally translated to heaven.

The phrase “will perform it” means “to finish”, it means to be carried forward to completion. This consummation is termed “the day of Christ”.

This is the day when the Lord will receive His church to glory and reward His servants. May His people be fully persuaded and convinced, being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Amen.
