2 Corinthians 1:12 For Our Rejoicing Is This

2 Corinthians 1:12 (KJV)  For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward. 

For the Apostle Paul, his testimony before the church in Corinth was a life of simplicity and godly sincerity. This is in contrast with fleshly wisdom.

It was not by his strength and wisdom rather by the grace of God, he has been enabled to bear a good conversation in the world. He was in the world but not of the world.

More so, as an example to the believers. For this, the Apostle Paul rejoices. For this all who live godly in Christ Jesus rejoices. Amen.
