1 Corinthians 1:8 Be Blameless In the Day Of Our Lord Jesus Christ
1 Corinthians 1:8 (KJV) Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
How is it possible? The Apostle Paul explains in 1 Corinthians 1:4-6 (KJV) I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; 5 That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; 6 Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
Here the word “blameless” does not mean “perfect”. It means there is no ground for accusation, guilty of no crime. In other words, by the grace of God to escape the condemnation in the last day.
In Christ and His sufficient grace, God’s people are kept justified and sanctified to make that last entrance into a heavenly eternity. Indeed, confirmed unto the end. What assurance! Amen.
