2 Corinthians 1:18-19, God Is True

2 Corinthians 1:18-19 But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay. For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.

The Apostle Paul’s ministry of the word in Corinth was effectual. Souls were saved. And the clear preaching of the truth that salvation comes by Jesus Christ, the Son of God was plainly and clearly expounded. This is the good news that brought hope and joy and peace to the people in Corinth. It was an undeniable miracle that souls were converted and lives were transformed.

The God that the Apostle Paul preached in Jesus Christ is truly the God who came from heaven. This is the God who demonstrated His love by His actions. Jesus came to die for the sins of mankind so that whosoever who believes shall be saved. He testified in 1 Timothy 1:11-12, “According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my tryst. And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.”

The testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ through Paul, Silvanus and Timothy were yea and amen! Of which we affirmed. Amen.
